Joanne Marie Fauvie

Joanne Marie Fauvie, 67, passed away peacefully, Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024, surrounded by her family, at Hospice House in Poland.

Joanne was born Feb. 13, 1957, in Warren, the daughter of Joseph and Gloria Shver.

She was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School in the class of 1975. She married her high school sweetheart, Raymond Fauvie Jr., on Oct. 13, 1979.

She was a strong woman and a caring mother and wife. She was a loving grandmother to her grandchildren who were her pride and joy. Joanne loved her sports. She enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers and Guardians. She enjoyed family vacations, dinners with friends and any chance she had to spend time with those she loved.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 45 years, Raymond Fauvie Jr.; children, Jennifer (Justin) Russo of Wilmington, North Carolina, Aimee Robertson (Gino Biamonte) of Niles, Ohio and Stacey (Johnny) Burke of Dublin, Ohio; and grandchildren, Parker Robertson, Keegan Russo and Riley Russo.

She also leaves behind sisters-in-law, Monique (Joe) Shver, Lorraine Fauvie and Karen Fauvie; brothers-in-law, Craig (Connie) Fauvie, and Brian Fauvie; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Gloria Marchese Shver; brother, Joe Shver; in-laws, Raymond and Gloria Fauvie; and brother-in-law, Stephen Fauvie.

Calling hours are from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Holloway-Williams Funeral Home, 611 Robbins Ave., Niles, Ohio. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2024, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 381 Robbins Ave., Niles, Ohio.
