Anthony "Tony" Poe Obituary

Anthony "Tony" Odell Poe, 48, passed away Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017, at his home.

He was born May 19, 1969, in Warren, the son of Odell G. and Claudette Botts Poe of Mineral Ridge.

Tony was a graduate of Mineral Ridge High School and attended Youngstown State University.

Tony was a tow motor operator for BRT Extrusions of Niles.

He enjoyed being with his friends and family, gardening, canoeing, watching NASCAR, playing his guitar and listening to music.

Tony is survived by his parents; a brother, Andrew S. Poe of Warren; a sister, Angee Poe Shaker and his brother-in-law, attorney Robert Shaker; nephew, Isaac Shaker; niece, Ava Shaker; uncle, Mark Botts of Hawaii; and uncle and aunt, Thomas and Denise McBride of Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Odell and Myrtle Poe and Clie and Hazel Botts.

As per Tony’s wishes, there are no calling hours. A private service of remembrance will be held by the family at a later date.

Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Warren.
