Fausta "Florence" Roberts

Fausta “Florence” Roberts, 73, died Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at Greenville Memorial Hospital in South Carolina.

Florence was born Oct. 11, 1945, in Formicola, Italy. She was the daughter of Frank and Maria Corsale Migliozzi.

She came to the United States in 1958, with her father and brothers (Joe and Vince), and eventually settled in the Girard / Niles area.

Florence worked for Our Lady of Mount Carmel Schools as a cook. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles. She enjoyed cooking, shopping and spending time with her family.

Florence is survived by her son, Lou (Sherry) Roberts of Greenville, S.C.; grandchildren, Anthony (Michelle) Roberts of Niles, Ashley (Jared) Bartholomew of Greenville, S.C., and Michael Roberts of Greenville, S.C.; great-grandchildren, Connor Roberts, Kelsey Roberts and Avery Bartholomew; as well as a brother, Vince (Anna Maria) Migliozzi of Girard.

Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony L. Roberts, whom she married June 1, 1968, and who died March 11, 2010; son, Anthony F. Roberts; daughter, Mary Roberts; her parents; brothers, Stefano Migliozzi and Joe Migliozzi; and sisters, Stefanella Simeone and Carmela Lambert.

A Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles.

Entombment will be in Pineview Memorial Park.
