Richard S. Trifilette

Richard S. Trifilette, 80, of Niles passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018 at  his residence.

He was born July 5, 1938, in Niles, the son of Thomas and Germaine Onnoboni Trifilette.

Richard was a veteran of the U S Marine Corps. He worked at various positions at Copperweld Steel and CSC Steel for 43 years, retiring in 1996.

He was a member of the VFW 2074, Warren Moose, Naus Club of Warren and the Amvets 106. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching the Cleveland Indians and the Cleveland Browns.

Richard is survived by a son, Richard Tim (Lynette) Trifilette of McDonald, Ohio; two daughters, Lisa Trifilette and Chris of Kentucky; Trisha Lough and Bill of Niles, Ohio; three stepdaughters, Tracy Soda and Lou Padula of Niles; Terry Hughes of Niles; Vicky (Joel) Town of Niles; two sisters, Virginia Parker of Howland, Charolette Novotny; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Ann Williams Trifilette, who he married on Aug. 9, 1976 and who passed on July 24, 2015; his parents and two brothers, Tim and David Trifilette.

As per Richard’s wishes, there are no services or calling hours.
