Albert G. Miranda Jr.,73, of Niles, died Monday, Oct. 10, 2016, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 5, 1943, in Warren, the son of Albert G. Miranda Sr. and Anne Babyak Miranda.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Albert was employed by Tauro Bros. Trucking Co. as a truck driver for 20 years, retiring in 2011. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed golf, fishing, the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians and The Ohio State Buckeyes.
Albert is survived by sons, Randy Miranda of Delaware and Steven Miranda of Pennsylvania; and daughters, Melanie Littleton of Delaware and Teresa (Eric) Swanson of Howland. He also leaves brothers, Terry Miranda, Edward Miranda and Ronald Miranda, all of Niles; and a sister, Patrice (Thomas) Lynch of Niles; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Sandra Reason Miranda, who passed away in 2007.
Calling hours will be 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, at Holloway-Williams Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 611 Robbins Ave., Niles. Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. with the Rev. James Walker officiating.
