It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father Brian L. Fauvie. Brian left this world unexpectedly on March 5, 2025. His departure has left us with a deep sense of loss and sadness.
Brian was born January 16, 1962, in Warren, Ohio, the beloved son of Gloria (DiNatale) Fauvie and Raymond J. Fauvie Sr. He graduated from the Niles McKinley High School Class of 1980. Brian went on to marry his high school sweetheart Peggy Cowen (1983 – 1999) with whom he had three children: Brian Jr., Eric L., and Abbey Fauvie. Brian was the epitome of hard work and dedication. After high school he began working in the concrete business with his father and became very good at the trade. Not only was Brian a talented cement finisher he was also the “jack of all trades”. He was always renovating or upgrading his houses.
When Brian wasn’t working or renovating, he enjoyed the outdoors including camping in Cook Forest, archery hunting in southern Ohio, and fishing. He also had a love for music, no matter what the genre he loved to listen to his music loud and jam along. Brian was also a man who took pride in his appearance, home and vehicles. He took care of his belongings and everything was always organized.
Brian is survived by daughter Abbey (Craig) Thome of Minot, North Dakota; son Eric L. Fauvie of Niles; and one granddaughter. He leaves behind sisters, Lorraine Fauvie, Karen Fauvie, brother Craig (Connie) Fauvie, brother Ray Fauvie, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded death by a son Brian Lee Fauvie Jr., his mother Gloria (DiNatale) Fauvie, his father Raymond J. Fauvie Sr., brothers Stephen and Emanuel Fauvie, and his sister-in-law Joanne Fauvie.
Please join us in remembering Brian’s vibrant spirit and pay our respects on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 10 a.m. to12 p.m. at the Holloway -Williams Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 611 Robbins Ave. Niles, Ohio.
