Charles H. Everman, 67, of Niles, passed away on Saturday, May 16 at 12:26 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital after a brave battle against cancer.
Chuck was born on October 30, 1958 in Warren. He was a retired accountant. He loved 70's Rock, the Browns and the Guardians, all animals, but more than anything, people. He never met a stranger and he was always the first person to check-in with loved ones. He volunteered for many years as an announcer for the Little Red Dragons and also for some time at Hospice of the Valley, where he comforted patients with his warm nature, trademark sense of humor, and his one-of-a-kind laugh.
Chuck is survived by his beloved wife, Cynthia, after celebrating 44 years of marriage, as well as his four children—Shawn Fellows, Jennifer Waller (Bennett), Melissa Toledo and Ash Kinney (Erin). His eight grandchildren include Shawn Patrick, Dylan, FaithMarie, Allison, Kalin, Rhyleigh, Zachary, Jaxon and Romee. He is also survived by his sister Beatrice Parker (Paul) and many nieces and nephews who he was very close with.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings—Thomas Everman, James Everman and Sheryl McCune.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 21 at 4 p.m., with calling hours starting at 3 p.m., until the time of service at the Holloway-Williams Funeral Home & Cremation Services. 611 Robbins Avenue in Niles.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hospice of the Valley at 9803 Sharrott Road in Youngstown.
