David E. Clawson Jr.

David E. Clawson Jr., 56, of McDonald, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren.

He was born April 22, 1968, in Warren, Ohio, the son of David E. and Linda Hodge Clawson Sr.

David was a graduate of McDonald High School and was a veteran of the US Navy, where he served as a second class operations specialist aboard the USS Truett (FF) 1095. He worked as a millwright at US Cobe Steel in Lorain, Ohio, where he was a Union representative and was very active in the Steel Workers Union activities.

David is survived by his mother, Linda Clawson of McDonald; his sister, Sonya Jenkins of Virginia; a niece, Victoria Taylor, nephew Jacob Gregg; three aunts, Mary Jane Cintron, Patricia Pustay and Barbara Hodge; his uncle, Warren Cintron and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, David E. Clawson Sr., his grandparents and two uncles, Steve Pustay and John Sudol.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 11 at 6 p.m., at the Holloway-Williams Funeral home & Cremation Service, 611 Robbins Ave., Niles, Ohio. 330-652-2422
