David M. Soda

David M. Soda, 63, of Niles, passed away Thursday May 29, 2025, at his residence.

He was born June 14, 1961, in Warren, Ohio, the son of Joseph J. and Joan Laboda Soda.

David was employed in the construction business working out of the Labor Union Hall 935. He was a member of Saint Pope John XXIII Parish, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Campus. He enjoyed fishing, attending music concerts, going to high school football games and loved watching the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Dallas Cowboys.

David is survived by his son, David (Nicole) Soda of Austintown; a daughter, Samantha Soda (fiancé Tom Kolic) of Austintown; two brothers, Mark Jesse Soda of Niles and Joseph J. (Mary) Soda Jr. of Niles; his sister, Sherri J. Long of Niles; a granddaughter, Ava Soda; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Joseph Long.

A small get together for family and close friends will be Friday, June 6, from 5-7 p.m. at the McKinley Heights Fire Department Hall, 2229 Garland, Niles, Ohio 44446.
