Deborah L. (Debbie) Mullins, 71, of Niles passed away Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Hospice House in Poland, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born June 28, 1954, in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of Louis Ray and Maxine Whitt Mullins.
Debbie was a member of the South Side Pentecostal Church in Niles and was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School, Class of 1972.
After graduation she worked at North Side Hospital for ten years, then moved to Florida where she painted houses and managed a Home Depot. She moved back home and worked at DIY, eventually getting her CDL and drove semi for around ten years. After getting hurt on the job, she worked retail at Marc’s until retiring.
Debbie was adventurous, loved traveling, especially to the ocean. She enjoyed spending time with friends, family and her dogs. Debbie had a huge heart, was very generous and caring. Many of AJ’s friends still call her mom.
Debbie is survived by her partner, Theresa Perline, whom she married on August 22, 2015, her son, Andrew J. (Melissa) Mullins of Niles, a sister, Tracy (Ken) McMillian of Cortland, Ohio, sister-in-law, Lenore Mullins of Austintown, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, David Mullins and sister, Donna Marino.
A celebration of Debbie’s life will take place at a later date.
Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
