Ethel T. Syacsure, 85, of Niles died Friday April 17, 2015 at 3:14 p.m. at Windsor House at Liberty Health Care Center.
She was born September 1, 1929, in Newton Falls, Ohio, the daughter of John and Anna Salavari Bako.
A lifelong area resident, Ethel worked as a tow motor operator for Worthington Custom Plastics retiring in 2000, after 30 plus years of service.
Ethel is survived by her daughter Linda Syacsure of Niles, daughter-in-law Ava Christine Syacsure, grandson Jeremy Radabaugh, daughter-in-law Candy Syacsure Wilson, granddaughters Lorraina and Gina Syacsure, grandson Andrew Syacsure, many nieces, nephews and her beloved boxer “Ginger."
She was preceded in death by her husband Michael Syacsure, whom she married on April 14, 1951 and who passed away in May of 1990; two sons, Robert J. Syacsure, who passed on December 14, 2014; Allan Syacsure, who passed on February 4, 2011; four brothers and four sisters.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday April 21 at 7 p.m. at the Holloway-Williams Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 611 Robbins Ave., Niles, Ohio. Family and friends may call from 5 p.m. until time of service.
Interment will be in Mecca Cemetery.
The family requests that material contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice House in Poland, Ohio.
The family would like to thank the caring staff at Liberty Health Care, especially Monica (Moe) and Jerry for the kind and caring treatment of Ethel.
