Frank J. Slovasky, 83, of Niles died Thursday, March 10, 2016 at his residence.
He was born November 10, 1932, in Niles, Oho, the son of Steve and Helen Krajnak Slavokovsky.
A life long area resident, Frank was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles. He retired from National Gypsum Company after many years of service as a tow motor operator.
Frank was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Frank is survived by his two sons, Frank (Janet) Slovasky, Mark (JoAnn) Slovasky, a brother, John (Theresa) Slovasky, two sisters, JoAnn Petrek, Mary Lou (Bill) Luzar, son in law David Gross, sister in law Alice Slavokovsky, three grandchildren and his companion Arlene Getch.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Phyllis L. Cicciarelli Slovasky, whom he married on Sept. 5, 1980 and passed on April 11, 2008; daughter Laura Gross; two brothers, Raymond and Steve Slavokovsky; sister Margret and brother in law Joe Petrek.
Family and friends may participate in a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., Monday, March 14, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles. Calling hours are private.
Entombment will be in Pineview Cemetery.
