Fred E. Joseph, 74, of Niles, died at 3:45 a.m. Sunday, April 24, 2016, at his residence.
He was born March 2, 1942, in Warren, the son of Edward and Evelyn Boccia Joseph.
A lifelong area resident, Fred was a 1960 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and a member of St. Stephen Church in Niles.
He retired from Packard Electric as a supervisor.
He enjoyed collecting antiques, sporting events and following the Ohio State Buckeyes. The time that he got to spend with his grandchildren and family was very precious to Fred.
Fred is survived by four sons, Fred Joseph of Lucasville, Christopher (Ava) Joseph of Selingsgrove, Pa., Eric (Jill) Joseph of Saint Augustine, Fla., and Anthony Joseph of Niles; a daughter, Robin Joseph Chaves of Galt, Calif.; a brother, Ed (Sandy) Joseph of Warren; two sisters, Gloria (Curt) Anderson of Florida and Jinny Joseph Pallone of Austintown; eight grandchildren, Jenna Joseph of Charlestown, S.C., Brittney Chaves, Brandon Chaves and Mariah Mendoza, all of Galt, Calif., Brooke Joseph of Columbus, Jordan Joseph of Saint Augustine, Fla., and Tyler Joseph and Morgan Joseph, both of Niles; three great-grandchildren, Aaliyah Awan, Esabel Awan and Leena Awan; and his two dogs, Dood and Loki.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday April 30, 2016, at St. Stephen Church. The Rev. James Korda will be the celebrant.
Family and friends may call 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holloway-Williams Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 611 Robbins Ave., Niles.
Interment will be in Niles City Cemetery.
