Jennie M. Hlaudy, 80, of Niles, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 1:05 a.m. at Hospice House in Poland, Ohio from renal failure.
She was born July 3, 1944, in Spangler, Pa., the daughter of Clayton and Maude Miller Reffner.
Jennie was of the Catholic faith. She was the manager at T J Maxx in Niles and earlier in life worked at Packard Electric in Warren. Her world revolved around her family, especially her six kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She followed their activities and events and was very supportive of their daily lives.
Jennie is survived by her loving husband, John Hlaudy, whom she married on May 5, 1965; her three sons, John (Diane) Hlaudy of Meadville, Pa., Richard (Jeanette) Hlaudy of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Stephen Hlaudy of Youngstown, Ohio her three daughters, Cynthia (Dave) Alexander of Garrettsville, Ohio, Susan Hlaudy of Cleveland, Ohio and Lisa (Josh) Metz of Erie, Pa., a sister, Bertha “Doll” Bonanno of Warren, Ohio; her lifelong friends Jerry and Dianne Humenik of West Farmington, Ohi;, her 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, seven siblings and one infant son, John Stephen Hlaudy.
A Service of Christian Burial will be at noon, Tuesday, March 11 at the Holloway-Williams Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 611 Robbins Ave., Niles, Ohio. 330-652-2422
Family and friends may call Monday, March 10 from 4 to 6 p.m. and Tuesday, March 11 from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
