John D. Collins

John D. Collins, 58, of Girard died Monday, May 18, 2015 at his residence of natural causes.

He was born in Youngstown, Ohio on October 6, 1956, the son of Jack and Margaret Andres Collins.

John was a graduate of Girard High School and attended YSU. He worked as a retail furniture salesman for 25 years for various companies in the area. He was a member of St. Rose Church and was a true Cleveland sports fans following the Indians, Browns and Cavs.

He is survived by his cousin, Coach Don Andres of Niles,  several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

As per John’s wishes there are no calling hours or services.
