Josephine C. Hitchcock

Josephine C. Hitchcock, 93, of Niles, passed away Friday, April 12, 2024, at Aventura at Humility House Austintown.

She was born July 12, 1930, in Niles, Ohio, the daughter of Guy and Isabella Ambrose Nori.

Josephine was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles. She was a hairdresser for over 65 years, working at Strouss’ and HairBiz.

Josephine is survived by her husband, Robert L. Hitchcock Sr., whom she married on October 22, 1951; her son, Robert L. (Dawnelle) Hitchcock Jr. of Masury, Ohio; her daughter, Phyllis J. Wilson of Niles; and her five grandchildren, Jeffery Cranston, Jennifer Cranston, Erica (Katy) Wilson, Andrew (Nadia) Hitchcock and Gabriel Hitchcock.

She was preceded in death by her nine siblings.

As per Josephine’s wishes, there are no calling hours or services.
