Joyce Ellen Swauger Lipscomb

Joyce Ellen Swauger Lipscomb, 62, of McDonald, passed on Nov. 15, 2025.

She was born in Youngstown, Ohio on Nov. 13, 1963, the daughter of the late Jeannette Hafely and William Swauger.

She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. She was a giving person to those in need even is she had to go without.

She is survived by her children, Christopher (Angel) and Kayla: her grandchildren Nevaeh, Cora, Jack, William, John, Wyatt and Katness. Her sisters Alice Wilson, Marlene Tillery (Robert Young), Kathleen Zeno (john) and Patricia Tillery; and a very special mother-in-law Nancy Groves and niece Mary Wright (Tom) and many more nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents, William and Jeannette, step-dad Jack Hafely, her son William Lipscomb and his spouse Crystal Gibson, her brother Fred Tillery and sister, Mary Jo Swauger and a great granddaughter Aleana.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 6 at 4 p.m. at the Holloway-Williams Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 611 Robbins Ave., Niles, Ohio, 330-652-2422.

Family and friends may call from 3 p.m. until the time of service. 

Burial will be in Girard City Cemetery in Spring of 2026. at the convenience of the family.
