Juanita M. Jacobs

Juanita M. Jacobs, 88, of Warren, Ohio, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital Downtown following a short illness.

She was born April 16, 1937, in Niles, Ohio, the daughter of James and Julia Kapena Real.

Juanita attended Grace Church in Niles and was a graduate of Howland High School. She was a foster grandparent of 20 years at TCAP before retiring.

She enjoyed knitting, going out to eat, puzzles, I-dot painting, spending time with family and always looking forward to lunch with her special friend, Brigette.

Juanita enjoyed the time that she worked with the kids at TCAP.

Juanita is survived by her son, David (Midori) Jacobs of Toronto, Ontario; her daughter, Debbie M. (Dave Stewart) Roose of Howland, Ohio; two brothers, Joseph Real and James Real Jr.; a sister, JoAnn Bryson and two granddaughters, Miyoko and Corinne.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lenard (Jake) Jacobs; a daughter, Ginger Butto; and a brother, John Real.

Funeral services will be Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 10 a.m., at the Holloway-Williams Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 611 Robbins Ave., Niles, Ohio. 330-652-2422.

Family and friends may call Wednesday, May 21, 2025 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
