Justin J. Yost

Justin J. Yost, 41, of Niles passed away Monday, September 15, 2025, at his residence with his loving family by his side after a valiant fight against pancreatic cancer.

He was born February 14, 1984, in Canton, Ohio, the son of David and Pamela Metzler Yost.

Justin attended YSU and trade school and worked for Trivium Packaging as a specialist operator. He was known for his hard work ethic. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, going to the beach and rooting for the Cleveland Browns and the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Justin’s world revolved around his family. His total commitment to them was a great source of love in his battle with his illness.

Justin is survived by his loving wife, Taylor Yost, whom he married on June 6, 2020; a son, Jay Yost; his daughter, Nora Yost; his mother and stepfather, Pamela and John Sobinovsky; his father, David Yost; a brother Andrew (Katie) Yost;  grandmother, Grace Metzler; and his nieces and nephews, A.J., Maddie, Alex, Bruce and Austin.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Eugene Yost, Jay Metzler, a great-grandmother, Virginia Krisher and his uncle, Michael Yost.

Family and friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to noon, Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Holloway-Williams Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 611 Robbins Ave., Niles, Ohio. 330-652-2422

A memorial service will be held at noon.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund.
