TO Willie & Family: I would like to offer my prayers and condolences to you in the passing of your dear loved one Kate. We have something in common, i also loved her. Doing the last couple of years, we saw a lot of each other at the Wellness Center. She was the same sweet, loving person that I knew doing our school years. May you find comfort in knowing that she is with the Lord and all pain and misery is gone. May the Lord of comfort and mercy keep you in His care. Sleep on Kate and take your rest. We all love you but God loves you best. Willie, you and family are in my prayers. Hold on. Suffer may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. Love Betty

Bill, Mike, John, and family, you are all in my thoughts and prayers. To echo the other posts, what a beautiful person who always made sure all of us (then kids) were taught to treat each other with respect and kindness. Outside what has already been mentioned (truly the best cookies!) she would also make sure that when the team captains were chosen, they didn't pick the less athletic kids last which made all of us feel like the superstars while playing on "the lot." She often reminded the neighborhood kids that although nicknames were okay (pork) we should also not forget our "real" names. I will never forget her and the great times we had growing up. I am very grateful for knowing the entire family. God bless her and all of you.

John, your brothers and your father, I am so sorry. I am so sorry we have been out of touch this long. This is a huge surprise to me. Your mom, like me or not, was the classiest most upstanding woman I ever wanted to be. Katie was so classy 😃 Really a great woman. I really wish, and I do, that we could have had longer, a life time together... She could have taught me so much. Hold your father and tour brothers close, if Kate taught me anything, Family is number one💕💕 See you soon Bigga💕
