Margaret A (Reese) Hanshaw

Margaret A. Hanshaw, 68, of Niles, died at 7:10 p.m., Sunday, July 29, 2018, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.

She was born October 1, 1949, in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of John C. and Mary T. Rapchak Reese.

A life long area resident, she was a 1968 graduate of Niles McKinley High School. She worked for Packard Electric as an assembler on the harness line for 31 years, retiring in 1999.

She was a member of the Army-Navy Post 252, the VFW Post 2074 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Niles.

She is survived by a son, Oscar E. Hanshaw of Niles; a daughter, Cathy Hanshaw of Niles; a brother, Robert Reese of North Jackson; two sisters Becky Prest of Niles; Carol Chittock of Niles; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Hanshaw Jr., whom she married on July 19, 1969 and who died April 7, 1994; her parents; a daughter, Patricia Lynn Hanshaw; a brother, John “Pinch” Reese; and a sister, Peggy Hanshaw.

As per Margaret’s wishes, there are no calling hours or services.
