Margie L. Grant

Margie L. Grant, 89, of Niles, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025, at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren.

She was born March 28, 1935, in Thayerton, (Armstrong County), Pennsylvania, the daughter of Roy and Iva Crissman Shreckengost.

Margie enjoyed going to casinos and doting on her dog, Tippy.

Margie is survived by her two sons, Bob L. (Shirley) Grant of Niles and David J. Grant of Niles; her daughter, Bonnie Lou Martino of Springtown, Texas; two brothers, James Shreckengost and Dennis Shreckengost, both of Summerville, Pa.; two sisters, Ruth George of New York and Dianne Shreckengost of Summerville, Pa.; three grandchildren, Josh Martino, Lisa Dziatlk and Jennifer Miller; and three great-grandchildren, Blake and Vance Miller and Adalee Dziatlk.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Grant, who she married April 30,1955 and passed October 3, 2000, and son, Douglas Grant, who passed May 25, 2024.
