Margie E. Green

Margie E. Green, 99, of Niles, passed away Monday, August 18, 2025, at Antonine Village in North Jackson.

She was born November 19, 1925, in South Pittsburgh, Tennessee, daughter of Harry and Allie Crow Murray.

Margie was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker. She loved to travel so much her nickname was the “Gypsy.” She visited every state but one.

Margie is survived by three sons, Gary Green, Jimmy (Shelby) Green, and Randi Green; a daughter, Vickie (Jack) Porter; a brother, David Murray; a daughter-in-law, Sally Green; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Green; five sons, Joe, Larry, Ken, Clinton, and Rickie; a daughter, Gail; and three grandchildren, Billy, Larry II, and Jeremy.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Monday, August 25, 2025, at the Holloway-Williams Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 611 Robbins Ave., Niles. 330-652-2422

Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
