Mary Lou (Toro) Miller

Mary Lou Miller (Toro), 90, of Niles, Ohio, joined her family in heaven on October 2, 2024.

A devoted mother of five sons, she lived life with spunk, sass and a sense of humor. She pushed through life’s challenges with fiery determination and inspired her sons to do the same.

She enjoyed her Irish heritage, swimming and reading biographies. She was adventurous, sociable and stood up for her beliefs. She was also a fabulous dancer. She thoroughly enjoyed preparing holiday meals for her family and was a great cook of much variety including Italian. Above all, she loved being a mom and will always be remembered for her amazing homemade cinnamon rolls.

She was dearly loved by her sons, Greg Toro (Annette), Mark Toro, Dana Toro, Lance Toro and Alfonso Toro III, 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and her best friend of 60 years, Lavaughn Collins (Jerry), of Warren, Ohio.

Calling hours will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Holloway-Williams Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 611 Robbins Ave., Niles, Ohio. 330-652-2422.

A burial service will be held at the Pineview Cemetery Chapel at 1 p.m.
