It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Nick Vecchiarelli born March 1,
1967 of Hubbard, Ohio. Nick was a man who was a pro at thinking outside the box. If you were
lucky enough to be his friend you had the pleasure of going on many adventures with him. He
loved life and was not afraid to live it to the fullest. He was full of tenacity and strength which
people who knew him loved. He could tell a good story; his antics left you laughing and the
mention of his name leaves most remembering a moment in time and always with a smile.
He loved golfing, camping, boxing, horse racing, concerts, bike riding, baseball, basketball, football,
4-wheeling. He was up to whatever life had to offer. He was also very lucky. Has anyone
forgotten his “Hole in One” the 148-yard par 3 hole #15 at Deer Creek Golf Course? That was the
day he joined the legends! Nick was loved and had an awe-inspiring personality that left him
many nicknames by all those who knew him. He was a great son with a big heart taking care of
both of his parents Patsy and Elisa Vecchiarelli until their passing, without ever complaining and
always stepping up. Nick was a good friend, kind and always there to help his friends. His
friendships extended generations. “Uncle Nicky” was always available to take time to throw a
football, a baseball, attend the kids’ games and always teaching them what it meant to be a part
of a team and the up most importance of showing “team spirit.” He leaves a legacy of strength,
thoughtfulness, and kindness that will always be remembered. There will be no calling hours or
services per Nick’s request.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Holloway-Williams Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 611
Robbins Ave. Niles, Ohio.330-652-2422.
