Ralph J. Corso

Ralph J. Corso, 93, of Niles, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at his residence with his loving family by his side.

He was born September 8, 1930, in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of James and Rose Romano Corso.

Ralph was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles and was an Army veteran serving in the Korean War. He enjoyed golfing and especially the time he spent with his family. In high school, Ralph was named All City in Football at East High School in Youngstown.

He worked for 40 years as a cement finisher for Marchese Construction.

Ralph is survived by his son, James P. Corso of Niles; his daughter, Janyce A. Corso of Pompano Beach, Florida; a brother, Frank Corso; and a sister, Vivian Carmel.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Ann Marchese Corso, whom he married in 1953 and who passed July 18, 1992.

A private family-only service will be held Thursday, June 27 at 11 a.m. at the Holloway-Williams Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 611 Robbins Ave., Niles, Ohio. 330-652-2422
