Robert Ponzani Obituary

Robert M. Ponzani, 73, of Struthers passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at his residence with his loving family by his side.

He was born June 13, 1951, in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Benny and Marie Scarazzo Ponzani.

Bob was a graduate of Chaney High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving his Country during the Vietnam War. He was an electrician for Gulu Electric Company for many years.

Bob was an avid golfer, and his most precious moments was the time that he spent with his family.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Jeanette Schilling Ponzani, whom he married on September 19, 2009; two sons, Eric (Janice) Ponzani of Gulf Port, Mississippi and Denny DiBacco II of Struthers; three daughters, Debbie DiBacco of Youngstown, Tracy Holden of Youngstown and Mandy (Frank) Scott of Youngstown; a sister, Cheral Anthony of Youngstown; two nephews, David and Donald Anthony; six grandchildren, attorney Kaitlin Stephens, Joey (Christine) Stephens, Kevin (Taylore) Holden, Samantha Holden, Antonio (Lexie) Page, Kennedy Page; three great-grandchildren, Joey Stephens III, Louie Stephens, Aspen Holden and his dog, Manilow.

Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday March 30, 2025, at the Holloway-Williams Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 611 Robbins Ave., Niles, Ohio, 330-652-2422.
