He was born July 11, 1927, in Allegheny County, Pa., the son of Thomas F. and Anna Zordich Anerino Sr.
Tommy, as he was known to his family and friends, was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in World War II, attended Niles City Schools and was of the Catholic faith.
He retired from Con Rail Railroad in 1985 as a conductor after 30 years of service.
Tommy's passion was that he was in love with the game of golf, which he tried to play a round everyday after retirement. He enjoyed toy antiques, playing the lottery and trips to the casinos.
He lived in Boardman for 27 years before he came home to Niles to be cared for by his daughter Lynda Roberts and the helping hands of James Klonowski.
Tommy is survived by his daughter Lynda Anerino Roberts of Howland, and a son Gregory Thomas (Barbara) Anerino of Sanibel, Fla. He had many happy hours with his grandson Richard Roberts Jr., his great-grandchildren Tori Marie Roberts and Tyler James Roberts, all of Warren, and Edie.
The family would like to thank his extended family Elizabeth (Pat) Toni Landolfi and Rose and Dominic Sarno for all the homemade cookies, candy and soup and to a special friend Corinne and little bear for coming over to laugh and joke.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
As per Tommy's wishes, there are no calling hours. A family memorial service will take place at a later date.
Interment will be in Niles City Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by the Holloway-Williams Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 611 Robbins Ave., Niles, 330-652-2422.
