Tyler Joseph Bugos of Niles, Ohio passed away at his home in Fowler Township on Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with diabetes. He was born on Sept. 16, 1986, the son of Lisa (Jennings) Stredney and Frank Bugos.
He was a 2005 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and 2011 graduate of the Auto Tech program at Trumbull Career and Technical Center. He was a former employee of Howmet Aerospace.
Tyler had a deep love for nature. The woods were his sanctuary, a place where he could breathe freely and feel at peace. Whether he was heading out before sunrise for a hunt with friends, casting a line into still waters, or flying down dirt bike trails with a grin on his face, Tyler lived for those moments. He was known for his strong spirit, unwavering loyalty, and a heart as big as the great outdoors that he loved so much.
He is survived by his mother, Lisa (Ken) Stredney and his father, Frank (Beth Boland) Bugos. Tyler also leaves behind his three brothers Nick Bugos, Adam Stredney, and Ryan (Amanda) Stredney, as well as his beloved and loyal dog, Gus, who was his constant companion.
Tyler is also survived by his grandmothers, Janet Wright and Leona Fisher, both of whom held a special place in his heart. He will be deeply missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his close-knit circle of friends who were like brothers to him and shared in his laughter, adventures, and created memories together. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jay Jennings and paternal grandmother, Rosemary White, who welcomed him home with open arms.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Holloway Williams Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 611 Robbins Ave., Niles, Ohio 44446. A private ceremony will follow.
